Our team carries out the conversion and you’ll know how it’s going along the way. If something needs changing once work has started, we’ll ask you first.

When the work’s done and the dust has been cleared away, we’ll walk round the room with you. After that it’s all yours.

Loft Conversions That Maximise Your Home’s Space

Loft Conversion FAQs
Is my loft suitable for a conversion?
Most can be converted in one way or another. It comes down to the head height, the shape of the roof and whether there’s room on the landing below for a staircase. We’ll check all of that when we come out for your free consultation.
Do I need planning permission for a loft conversion?
Often not, because a lot of loft conversions come under permitted development. Some do need it, for example if you’re changing the roof at the front of the house or you live in a conservation area. We’ll let you know and can help with an application.
Does a loft conversion need building regulations approval?
Yes. Building regulations cover things like the floor structure, the stairs, fire safety and insulation. We’ll help you get approval as part of running the project.
Can you add a bathroom or en-suite in the loft?
Yes. We fit bathrooms and tiling ourselves, so the plumbing can be planned in from day one and we’ll finish the room for you.
How much does a loft conversion cost?
That depends on how big the loft is and what kind of conversion you’re after. We’ll give you a written quote once we’ve been out for your free consultation.
